Megan W. Gerhardt, Ph.D.

Founder & Director of Thought Leadership

Megan is the author of Gentelligence: A Revolutionary Approach to Leading an Intergenerational Workforce and the founder of Gentelligence. For the last 15 years, Megan has been speaking and consulting with top organizations worldwide on leveraging generational diversity in the workplace.

Her Gentelligence work has been showcased as Harvard Business Review’s Big Idea in March 2022 and was also chosen as one of Harvard Business Review’s Top 10 Must Reads for 2024. Megan’s generational work has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, NBC News, The Washington Post, and CNN, among others.

Dr. Gerhardt is also a Professor of Management and Leadership at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, where she serves as Director of Leadership Development and the Robert D. Johnson Co-Director of the Isaac & Oxley Center for Business Leadership. Her academic and industry work focuses on leveraging unique differences to achieve impact and extraordinary levels of performance.

Jen is our exceptional executive assistant whose organizational prowess and attention to detail keep everything running here at Gentelligence.org. With a background in logistics, her meticulous approach and innate ability to prioritize tasks, Jen is the linchpin in managing our schedules and handling the needs of our clients.

Hannah Santo

Social Media Manager/Content Creator

Hannah graduated from The Ohio State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and minors in Media Production and Theatre. In 2022, she interned for NBCUniversal’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and returned as a Production Assistant following the WGA Writers’ Strike of 2023. She is currently the Social Media Manager for Gentelligence and Marketing Assistant for HIP Video Promo. Hannah loves all aspects of storytelling and creating content that brings people together.

Each of the coaches below brings significant training talent, a passion for leveraging generational diversity, and extensive training by Dr. Megan Gerhardt, the founder of Gentelligence.

Dan Docherty, Ph.D.

Dan is a certified Gentelligence trainer and an incredible coach. Dan’s passion is serving others to coach with impact and purpose so that they can build higher-quality relationships personally and professionally. Dan serves as Chief Coaching Officer at Braintrust (a communications consulting firm and a licensed partner in delivering Gentelligence training).

Dan’s professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry was spent leading various Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Medical Liaison teams, which ultimately led him to a Ph.D. degree in Management at Case Western Reserve University. His research was focused on coaching and development as part of the leader-team member relationship. This journey has fueled his passion for leading and coaching.

Dan is a professor of Management and Leadership at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, teaching MBA courses in coaching, leadership, and change management and serving as the Assistant Director of the Isaac and Oxley Center for Business Leadership.

Justin McGlothin, Ed.D.

Justin is a certified Gentelligence trainer and passionate educator. His passion is to connect people and leverage strengths to maximize the value of collaboration. He serves as President of Higher Ed Media, LLC, a media firm in the education and training industry.

Justin’s professional experience includes over twenty years in administrative and executive positions in higher education. These roles have included leadership in student services, finance and accounting, innovation, and people management.

Justin is a Professor of Management at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. He teaches courses in critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication. He serves as a course lead in the First Year Integrated Core and the Assistant Director of Miami PRIME.
